What is Furpi?
Furpi is a curated marketplace that connects prospective pet parents with verified and registered dog and cat breeders through a swipe-based experience that pet parents already know how to use.
The problem we solve
Buying a puppy or kitten today happens in two broken places: Craigslist-style classifieds where there is no vetting, and back-channel waitlists where reputable breeders are invisible to the families that want them most. Pet parents end up overwhelmed; reputable breeders end up unfindable.
How it works
Pet parents complete a short readiness screening (required for everyone, not a paid feature), then swipe through profiles of breeders who are verified and registered with recognized clubs. Breeders set up curated profiles with health testing, parent dogs, and program philosophy. Matches unlock in-app messaging and reviewed introductions.
